A big factor is the age you are in. You are in SAV. Energy Cannons start first, which is a factor. You are dealing with keen eye. AO is a factor as well. Wounded units can do less damage, so what you need most of all for your units is attack. Forget about the defense part. Even 3 on 1 will be no problem.

patrucio said: I don't level up attack/defence GBs beyond level 10 because it's not economically sound. Take the CoA for example. To level up from 9 to 10 costs 600FPs for a 3% boost. To level up from 10 to 15 for another 3% boost costs a whopping 3235FPs and the effect of that extra 3% is barely decernible.
Damage ≈ 100 x ( θ x Att / Def ) ^ 1.35. Tile damage is divided by three. The defense of the team managed by the AI is increased by 20% (certainly only concerns PvP fights) θ is a random parameter between exp (-.5)=0.606 and exp (.5)=1.649. I have no way of being sure of the formula used by the game algorithm, but these estimates are
Description for each cell: (That's me) Defense stats of the unit. Attack stats of the opposing unit. Base stat ( without any GB boost) The basic "Defense" stat. The basic "Attack" stat. Bonuses not affected by GB boosts (from Units, Terrain, Dugout, Chivalry, etc.)
In early ages it can make it to 10 damage (1 shot) somewhere around atk/def = 6 - but later age units have a hard cap on damage they can take normally up to 9. Damage cannot be reduced below 1. Arctic Orangery Crits are applied after the damage calculation and result in one shots if you would deal at least 7 non-crit damage.
